Four men have been convicted of the rape and murder of a young woman who was gang raped on a bus in Delhi last December.
Akshay Thakur, Vinay Sharma, Pawan Gupta and Mukesh Singh are due to be sentenced tomorrow.
The verdicts cap a seven-month trial that was often held behind closed doors and punctuated by the death of a fifth suspect, who hanged himself in his jail cell.
Another defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was 17 at the time of the attack and tried as a minor. He was sentenced to three years at a juvenile detention centre at the end of August.
