London arms fair ejects two firms over torture weapons

Two companies have been ejected from an arms fair in London for promoting illegal torture weapons after the Green MP Caroline Lucas raised the issue in Parliament.

The companies were promoting handheld projectile electric shock weapons, weighted leg cuffs and stun batons, according to Ms Lucas's website.

Ms Lucas said it was "frankly disgusting that items like this are being are being promoted at a supposedly legitimate trade event in Britain".

A notice on the website of the DSEI Arms Fair confirmed that Tianjin Myway International Trading Co. and Magforce International were ejected over a "compliance breach".
