- Employees eligible for shares are entitled to 725 free shares with an initial market value of £3,545.25.
- The maximum amount of free shares available to an individual employee in one tax year is 3,000 under HMRC rules.
- However, due to the success of the Royal Mail sale, this limit has been exceeded.
