Expert: Dogs can be 'sensitive' this time of year

Dogs can be very sensitive at this time of year and easily upset by fireworks, a dog behaviour expert has warned.

The debate over the behaviour of family dogs has arisen again following the death of four-year-old Lexi Branson who was attacked by her family's pet dog.

Dog behaviour expert Robert Alleyne said the public needed to be reminded that a dog is an animal and you cannot absolutely be sure of any dog's nature in any scenario.
