A British man has been killed fighting with rebel forces in Syria against the regime of Bashar al-Assad, the Guardian reports.
Mohammed el-Araj, a Muslim man in his early twenties, was killed in Syria in mid-August, his family said.
Araj, from Ladbroke Grove, West London, was born on a British airways flight and grew up in the UK, his family told the Guardian.
