A British soldier has been arrested under the Terrorism Act after a suspicious device was found at an address in Salford.
The 19-year-old was arrested by military police in Germany before being handed to Greater Manchester Police.
It follows the discovery of a suspicious device at an address on Mellor Street in Patricroft, Salford on Thursday 28th November, which led to a temporary evacuation of nearby houses.
The man has now been bailed until January.
