Frost and ice likely followed by blustery downpours

Tonight will be cold with frost, ice and a blustery mixture of rain, sleet and snow - more so in the north and across hill tops.

Tomorrow will bring brighter skies, but windy conditions with blustery downpours will produce hail and thunder.

It'll feel colder next week - especially by Thursday and Friday.
