A pony that has lived in a woman's house for more than two years has been removed by animal welfare officers.

Stephanie Noble moved Lady Gray Too into her home on the Isle of Lewis in December 2011 after a dispute over its grazing area.

Western Isles Council said the animal was removed from the property today by animal welfare officers "In the interests of animal welfare".

Speaking to the BBC in 2012, Ms Noble explained that there was nowhere else suitable on the island for the pony and was concerned for her safety.
