Prince reunites with 'slave' Warner Bros label

US singer Prince has announced a new deal with record label Warner Bros, nearly two decades after their public falling out when he called himself a 'slave' and relinquished his name in favour of a symbol.

Prince will release "previously unheard material" through the label, and a 30th anniversary edition of his hit Purple Rain this summer.

Prince was signed to Warner Bros from 1978 to the mid-1990s, and has now agreed rights ownership of the music he recorded for the label.
