Standing 290 centimetres tall the 150 million year old Stegosaurus stenops skeleton will be placed inside the entrance of the museum on December 4, and is the only skeleton of its type on display outside of the USA.

Professor Paul Barrett, lead dinosaur researcher at the Museum said: "Stegosaurus fossil finds are rare. Having the world’s most complete example here for research means we can begin to uncover the secrets behind the evolution and behaviour of this intriguing dinosaur species.”
