Baftas 2015: Boyhood wins coveted Best Film honour

Boyhood, which starred Ethan Hawke, Patricia Arquette and Ellar Coltrane has won the Bafta best film award and best director for Richard Linklater.

Eddie Redmayne was given the leading actor honour for his role in The Theory of Everything which was also named outstanding British film.

Benedict Cumberbatch 'not expecting' to win award

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who has been nominated for the Bafta leading actor award has told ITV News he does not expect to win because it is "Eddie Redmayne's year".

Cumberbatch, who is attending his first ever Bafta ceremony, is up against Redmayne, Ralph Fiennes, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Keaton.
