The driver of a tipper lorry which crashed in a Bath street killing four people tried to avoid crashing into anyone, witnesses said.
Rob Ollis told ITV News: "He was a young man and he was very, very shaken. He was obviously in shock. He was trying to comprehend what had happened.
"He was talking about how he tried to avoid the crash, he saw children on the crossing."
