Scotland Yard has said the man arrested as part of Operation Yewtree is not a new person in the inquiry.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the service has spoken to 17 people as part of the investigation, adding: "This is not a new individual to Operation Yewtree. This is not an 18th individual."
