Most of the main party leaders are back out on the campaign trail today after the ITV leaders' debate. All seven party leaders went head-to-head for the first and only time this general election last night, clashing over issues such as the economy, the NHS and immigration.

Clegg: I've learned from my mistakes; We are the 'fair party'

Nick Clegg has used his opening speech at the leaders' debates to assure voters he has "learned from his mistakes" - and promised that the Liberal Democrats were the "fair party".

He said he had the "grit and resilience" to balance the books - and do so fairly, without borrowing money the country does not have.
