Tesco machete attack: Man guilty of attempted murder

A man has been found guilty of attempted murder after a racially-motivated attack on an Asian man in what he said was a revenge for the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby.

Zack Davies, 26, from Mold, Flintshire, followed Dr Sarandev Bhambra into a Tesco supermarket and attacked the 24-year-old dentist with a hammer and machete as he shouted “white power”.

Extremist 'obsessed' with weapons and Nazi ideology

A white extremist who attacked an Asian dentist in a Tesco supermarket was obsessed with weapons and Nazi ideology.

Zack Davies armed himself with a machete, knife and claw hammer before he followed Dr Sarandev Bhambra and launched the unprovoked attack.

Police found a selection of Nazi books and posters related to the death of Fusilier Lee Rigby during a search of the 26-year-old's home.
