Labour leadership hopeful Andy Burnham has condemned David Cameron's description of migrants as a "swarm", saying the comment was "nothing short of disgraceful".
The Prime Minister told ITV News there was a "swarm" of migrants wanting to cross the Mediterranean and come to Britain.
Mr Burnhan tweeted that it showed there was "no dog-whistle these Bullingdon Boys won't blow".
The Refugee Council also hit out at the remark, describing it as "awful, dehumanising language from a world leader".
