A video showing a massive explosion in the northern China city of Tianjin, 90 miles from Beijing, was uploaded to social media today.
State-run news agency Xinhua News said the explosion was caused by flammable cargo at a container terminal and that at least 300 people are injured.
Social media users also posted photographs of the blast on instagram.
