The mother of murdered Lee Rigby has welcomed a decision to have a plaque bearing his name near to where he was killed.
His mother Lyn said in an interview with The Sun that the decision meant a great deal to her and that she does not want Lee to be forgotten.
Lyn said: “This means so much to me and my family because we want to make sure Lee is never forgotten.
“I will have a special place to take my children and grandchildren to show our love and respect for Lee. The support has been overwhelming."
Fusilier Rigby, 25, was murdered in Woolwich in May 2013 by two Muslim converts.
