No police action over Tyson Fury homosexual comments

Tyson Fury will face no criminal action from Greater Manchester Police following hate crime allegations.

Police looked into comments made by heavyweight champion Fury about homosexuality following a complaint by a member of the public.

However, officers have decided "no criminal offence has taken place" and the complaint will be recorded as a "hate incident".

Earlier this week Fury told ITV News he was unconcerned about being investigated by police over comments appearing to compare homosexuals to paedophiles, claiming his views are the same as the Pope's.
