Man United can still win the Premier League title this season if they sign Gareth Bale, according to Harry Redknapp.
Bale bagged a hat-trick on Zinedine Zidane's first match as Real Madrid manager on Saturday, with little chance of the Spanish giants allowing him to leave the club this month.
The Wales international played under Redknapp at Spurs where he struggled to impress him as a youngster, and seemed destined to leave before finally breaking into the team.
Redknapp, who has been out of work since leaving QPR in the Premier League relegation zone back in January 2015, told BBC Radio Five Live:
Gareth Bale is in the top four or five players in the world. He is an amazing talent. If Manchester United took him they could come close to winning the title this year. He can make that much difference.
Bale is a match-winner. He scores goals and he can make goals. He could go and get them 16 goals or 17 goals from now until the end of the season if he went on a run and he could turn the club around. He would be an incredible signing.
