A ticket holder has won £35.1 million in Wednesday night's Lotto draw - the biggest prize ever won in the game, the National Lottery has said.
The winning numbers were: 15, 17, 31, 41, 50, 57. The bonus ball was 05.
A National Lottery spokesman said: "In tonight's draw, one ticket-holder has scooped an amazing £35.1 million jackpot, the biggest prize ever won on the game, and a truly life-changing amount of money".
The previous record was a jackpot of £22.5 million, claimed by two business partners from St Leonards-on-Sea in 1995.
In January this year, a £66 million jackpot, the result of 15 rollovers, was split between two Lotto ticket holders.
