Death toll in Orlando nightclub shooting 'rises to 50'

The death toll from a nightclub shooting in Orlando in the early hours of Sunday has risen to 50, according to the city's mayor.

A further 53 people are believed to be injured, the mayor added.

An Orange Country sheriff said that the process of removing victims from the Pulse nightclub, where shooting broke out at approximately 2am, is continuing.
