Jurors have been shown CCTV footage of the man accused of murdering Labour MP Jo Cox on the day she was shot and stabbed to death in a street attack.
The grainy footage shows a silver Vauxhall Astra which Mrs Cox was in driving up Market Street in Birstall, West Yorkshire shortly before the attack on June 16.
The same camera also spotted the accused, Thomas Mair, on the street around the time of the attack.
Footage showing Mair, 53, walking along Lowood Lane, where he lived, on the morning of the attack was also shown at the Old Bailey.
She may have only served her constituents for little more than a year, but those whose lives Jo Cox touched won't forget her lasting legacy.
Thomas Mair is being described as an extremist, a fanatic, an assassin – even ‘a constituent’. But make no mistake – he is a terrorist.
Thomas Mair "betrayed the quintessence of our country" in the senseless killing of MP Jo Cox, the judge said.
