The Premier League derby clash between Manchester City and Manchester United has been rearranged.

City will host their rivals at 8pm on Thursday, April 27 as they look to do the double over Jose Mourinho's visitors following September's 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

As Opta has recorded, it is the first Thursday night derby clash between the teams in 23 years.

The derby - which was postponed in February as United appeared in the EFL Cup final - means City's league trip to Middlesbrough has been pushed back a day to Sunday, April 30.

Four other Premier League fixtures have been rearranged in what becomes a busy midweek of matches:

Apr 25
Chelsea v Southampton
Apr 26
Arsenal v Leicester, Middlesbrough v Sunderland and Crystal Palace v Tottenham
Apr 27
Manchester City v Manchester United
