Great Britain's Mark Cavendish took his first victory of the 2018 season, after winning stage three of the Dubai Tour on Thursday.
The Dimension Data rider claimed his first win since taking a stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour in February 2017.
Last season was severely hampered for Cavendish by bouts of illness and a crash during the Tour de France that lead him to quit the race because of a fractured shoulder.
Cavendish won the sprint finish ahead of Nacer Bouhanni and Marcel Kittel. Fellow British rider Adam Blythe finished fourth.
"There are so many good teams for sprinting here. I'm nowhere near the form I had in July but I'm happy with my form now." The Manxman said after the race.
"I still feel the consequences of my Tour de France crash in my body. It will remain for the rest of my life."
