Cardiff have signed Spain Under-21 international Victor Camarasa, the Premier League club have announced.
Camarasa joins from LaLiga club Real Betis and becomes Cardiff's fifth summer signing.
"The 24-year-old central midfielder joins on a season-long loan for the 2018-19 campaign," the Bluebirds announced on the official club website.
Camarasa progressed through the Valencia academy before joining neighbours Levante in 2012, making 65 appearances.
He spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Alaves and joined Real Betis the following June.
Camarasa made 26 appearances for Los Verdiblancos last season, scoring once.
Cardiff manager Neil Warnock has already signed Bobby Reid, Josh Murphy, Greg Cunningham and Alex Smithies ahead of the Bluebirds' return to the Premier League.
Striker Danny Ings has joined Southampton on a season-long loan which will be made permanent at the end of the 2018-19 season.
