New collusion probe into murder of senior SF member

A new investigation is to be launched by the Police Ombudsman into claims of police collusion in the 1976 murder of Sinn Féin vice president Máire Drumm.

The prominent republican was murdered in the Mater Hospital in Belfast, the mother of five was shot at close range in a joint UVF/UDA operation.

For the first time, a woman who witnessed the attack has spoken exclusively to UTV. Our Correspondent Sharon O'Neill reports.
