People in Northern Ireland are the best at sticking to a Christmas budget, according to a new research.
The survey carried out by Experian found that one in five (21%) of local people stuck to their budget when Christmas shopping.
That compared to those in London, who had the highest percentage of answers saying they would go into credit to pay for their presents.
Londoners also spent the most on themselves, with an average lay out of around £126.
The survey of more than 4,000 people also found that Glasgow had the highest average spender at around £500, closely followed by Liverpool with £480.
