A man has been arrested in Northern Ireland over a message posted online about the Manchester Arena bomb attack.

The 19-year-old was arrested in north Belfast on Tuesday evening under the Malicious Communications Act.

He is accused of making malicious remarks about the tragedy which claimed 22 lives when an improvised device exploded towards the end of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande.

Over 60 others were injured in the blast, with at least 20 still critical.

The accused is due to appear in court in Belfast on Monday 19 June.
