A dangerous prisoner who was at large from Magilligan Prison has been arrested, the PSNI has confirmed.
Police had been searching for 41-year-old Stephen Henry, after he did not return from day release on Monday.
Henry was jailed for murdering father-of-two John Cooke with a samurai-style sword in Lisburn in 2004.
He was arrested in Dublin on Friday for a public order offence but released after the court was told it could take up to a week to issue a European Arrest Warrant.
Henry was arrested by PSNI later that night in Warringstown in Co Armagh.
Police have thanked the public for their assistance.
