Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in west Belfast on Saturday 24 February.

It was reported that two men, believed to be in their late teens, entered the shop on Suffolk Road around 8pm wielding a hammer and a knife.

They threatened a member of staff with the weapons and demanded money from the till. They then made off with a sum of cash, along with a third man who was waiting outside, on the Glen Road in the direction of Lenadoon.

The man with the hammer was wearing a black North Face jacket with a grey hooded top underneath. The other man with the knife was wearing a dark grey jacket or hooded top zipped right up over his face.

The third man, waiting outside the shop, was wearing a two-tone grey and black jacket.
