Thousands take part in walk for Martin McGuinness
Several thousand people have taken part in a walk in memory of the former Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness.
The Sinn Féin stalwart died in March 2017 from a rare condition known as amyloidosis.
The walk was organised to raise awareness of the condition and to help raise funds for the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital where Mr McGuinness was treated.
The walk started in Londonderry and made its way to the ancient Grianan Fort in Burt in Donegal.
Mr McGuinness’s widow Bernie took part in the walk alongside Sinn Féin president Mary Lou McDonald, her predecessor Gerry Adams and Sinn Féin's Northern leader Michelle O’Neill.
