A teenager has been charged after a woman was attacked with a cordless drill in Strabane.
The 17-year-old boy has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and theft.
He is expected to appear at Omagh Magistrates Court on Monday 7 May.
The attack took place in the Railway Street area of the town in the early hours of Saturday 5 May.
The 38-year-old victim sustained a serious head injury and remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
