Further rain over northern and western counties this evening.

The east will be mainly dry until an area of heavy rain spreads in from the southwest overnight. Fresh or strong southerly winds easing.

A cloudy start with rain, this soon easing.

Then becoming brighter with sunny intervals and scattered showers in the afternoon and strengthening southwesterly winds.

Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Heavy rain then bright with blustery showers on Wednesday, with gales.

Sunshine and scattered showers on Thursday and Friday with winds soon easing.
