Over 600 people took part in the Jingle 5K around Stormont Estate on Sunday to support Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
The event was held for the first time as part of the charity’s Christmas fundraising campaign to raises vital funds to help support children’s hospice services over the festive period.
Peter McGarry from Belfast, who only recently joined Mallusk Harriers Running Club, was the first male over the line, while Dearbhla Cox from the Belfast Running Club was the first female running home – she is a volunteer gardener at Northern Ireland Hospice with her work colleagues.
Heather Weir, Chief Executive at Northern Ireland Hospice said: “The event was a huge success and I can say that first-hand as I completed the 5k Reindeer Run.
“Thank you to everyone who participated, your support really does make a difference.”
