Are you crackers about Christmas?
A couple in Derry who have decked their house out with 12,000 lights are definitely getting into the Christmas spirit.
The owner of the property admits he’s Christmas mad.
“It started many years ago … A few ‘Santa stop here’ signs and a few lights and each year we’ve kept adding to it and adding to it," he said.
“And it’s just got to the stage now where it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.”
Over the last few years, Paul and Sinéad Campbell’s house in The Meadows has become quite a tourist attraction.
Festive fan Paul says decorating the house at this time of year has become a bit of an obsession.
“It takes maybe a week fixing things before you start putting things out and then depending on the weather, it takes a week to put them up," he added.
“All the Campbells are Christmas mad … All the grandchildren … We enjoy it. It’s good fun.”
And even though it may not look like it, Paul insists there is more work he and his elves have yet to do.
“There are still a few blank spaces that needs filled in, so we’re working on that," he said.
“The speakers have to go up. We have music for the projectors in the garden and for outside the door and the obviously two snow machines. One for the back and one for the front.”
The question is, is this the most Christmassy house in Northern Ireland?
