Donegal beat Down and Cavan won out over Queen’s University Belfast amid the latest McKenna Cup action.

Sunday saw Donegal take a 1-17 to 0-10 win over Down at Páirc Esler, while Cavan ran out the 0-17 to 0-3 winners over Queen’s at Ballyconnell in the Section A games.

Meanwhile, Section B saw Armagh beat Antrim 2-21 to 1-10 in Glenavy and Clones hosted a 1-14 to 0-17 tie between Monaghan and St Mary’s University College.

In Section C, Derry beat Fermanagh 3-8 to 2-7 at Brewster Park and Tyrone won over Ulster University by 2-14 to 1-9.
