NI Weather: Dry to start, but rain moving in later

This Evening and Tonight:

Showers during the evening - occasional in west, and most isolated around Belfast and in Down - with outbreaks gradually dwindling from southeast overnight.

Winds continue to ease from the south.

Minimum temperature 4C.

Tuesday:

Some limited brightness and largely dry on Tuesday morning. Then cloud and rain reaching western counties by midday, spreading east by afternoon.

Strengthening southerly winds.

Maximum temperature 9C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Mild with southerly winds. Periods of rain crossing from the west early on Wednesday, thereafter staying mainly dry, but rather cloudy.
