A 37-year-old man who was arrested in February on suspicion of the murder of Ian Ogle in east Belfast has been reported to the PPS for the offence of murder.

Mr Ogle, 45, was beaten and stabbed 11 times by up to five men near his Cluan Place home in January.

Loyalist paramilitaries are believed to have carried out the killing despite the east Belfast UVF denying responsibility.

Last week Mark Sewell, of Aigburth Park, Belfast, became the thirdperson to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court charged with the murder.
