- Glasgow Warriors 50 - 20 Ulster
Ulster’s season came to a disappointing end as they lost to Glasgow Warriors in the Pro 14 semi final, in what was captain Rory Best’s final game for the club.
The hosts ran in seven tries at Scotstoun, including a double from Tommy Seymour, to book their place in the Grand Final.
Ulster got three late tries through Marcell Coetzee, Rob Herring and Mike Lowry but it wasn’t enough to overturn the rout.
Retiring skipper Best now only has duty with Ireland at this year's World Cup to look forward to before hanging up his boots.
Dan McFarland said: "Clearly Rory would have preferred to go out on a win. He probably wanted to play in a game where we played our best rugby.
"We didn't do that and that's the most disappointing thing."
He went on: "We're very disappointed in our performance but at the same time I think having watched that Glasgow performance I'm not sure even our best display would have won here.
"That's the best I've seen them play this year. They were really good value for their win.”
