A fourth man, aged 30, who was also arrested in connection with the incident in the Gilnahirk Road area, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police added that the 41-year-old man has been charged with a further three counts of burglary with intent to steal in relation to incidents in the Ravenhill Road area of Belfast on 18 January, in the Comber Road area of Dundonald on 27 January, and in the Woodstock Road area on 23 February.
