Fire crews have been battling a significant fire in Belfast since early on Monday morning.

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service received several calls about a large pile of scrap metal on fire at McKenzie’s (NI) Ltd late on Sunday night.

More than 40 firefighters and six appliances were sent to the scene.

Specialist high volume pumps were used to bring the fire under control throughout the morning.

There are no reports of any injuries.
