Northern Ireland have come from behind to beat Estonia 2-1 in their Euro 2020 qualifier.

Goals from substitutes Conor Washington and Josh Magennis secured the victory in Talinn, after Konstantin Vassiljev had put the home side in front.

It means Northern Ireland have now won all three out of their three matches and are top of Group C.

Estonia captain Vassilijev’s goal came on the 25th minute thanks to a low free kick which bent around the wall.

Further chances followed for the hosts - the ball was in the next again six minutes before the break, but Madis Vihmann had his header disallowed.

Michael O’Neill made changes for the second half with Washington, Magennis and Jordan Jones introduced.

The breakthrough came after 77 minutes, when Washington cut in from the left side and clipped in a shot which diverted off Magennis into the net.

And just minutes later, Northern Ireland were ahead when Magennis got a deft touch to Jones’s cross for the ball to trickle over the line.

The visitors could have added a third through Jones but it finished 2-1.

Northern Ireland are next in action against Belarus on Tuesday, before facing tough tests against the Netherlands and Germany later this year.
