A fire at a house in west Belfast in the early hours of Saturday is being treated as “arson with intent to endanger life” by police.
The blaze in the Divismore Park area was reported to emergency services at about 3am.
Police and firefighters attended the scene and brought the situation under control.
While no one was in the house at the time, damage was caused to the front door and hallway of the property and police have branded the arson attack “reckless”.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact them on 101.
