Michael Dunlop has made a sensational winning return from injury to win the opening race at the Armoy circuit.

The Ballymoney rider secured the Open Superbike event after starting second on the grid.

Two weeks ago, the 30-year-old sustained a broken pelvis following a crash at an event on the Isle of Man and on Saturday required steps to climb onto his bike.

However his injuries didn't stop him competing and he went on to take the victory in front of home supporters.
