Kyle Lafferty has been added to the Northern Ireland squad ahead of their upcoming games against Luxembourg and Germany.
The striker had been left out following his recent move to Norwegian club Sarpsborg, but will now link up with the rest of the group in Belfast.
Manager Michael O’Neill has also added Oxford defender Mark Sykes to the squad.
The moves follow injuries to Michael Smith and Jordan Jones, while Shayne Lavery has already been brought up from the under-21s following an injury to Paul Smyth.
Lavery has continued his good form for his club Linfield and was named as the Football Writers’ Player of the Month for August.
O’Neill said he’s delighted to have him back.
“We’ve only trained one day but Shane is good - and he’s been in before so we know all about Shane,” the manager told UTV.
“He’s been in our younger age groups, so he came in and trained very well yesterday, he looks fit and looks hungry and enthusiastic, and it’s good to have him back in.”
Northern Ireland face Luxembourg in a friendly on Thursday night before a Euro 2020 qualifier against Germany on Monday night.
