Through this evening and overnight, the skies will gradually clear in central and western areas leading to some dense fog patches and pockets of frost.

On Wednesday it will be a rather cloudy and grey start to the day with some outbreaks of rain. The rain will gradually turn patchier through the afternoon with a freshening southeasterly wind.

As for the rest of the week, it will be dry and bright on Thursday morning, before patchy rain spreads in and stays with us until Saturday.

Feeling cold with highs into high single figure.
