Man charged over sixty thousand pounds worth of benefit fraud

A man has been charged for suspected benefit fraud totaling over sixty-thousand pounds.

The 39-year-old was arrested following a search at a property in north Belfast in March.

Detectives from PSNI Terrorism Investigation Unit charged the man with 'fraud by false representation' in respect of suspected benefit fraud totaling £62,217.59.

He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court at the end of the month.
