Sarsfields beat Slaughtneil in club camogie decider

Slaughtneil missed out on four in a row as they lost to Sarsfields in the All-Ireland senior club camogie final at Croke Park.

Sunday’s match came to a dramatic end as Louise Dougan scored a point from 70m to bring the Derry side to a one-point lead with just minutes left.

However Sarsfields responded quickly with a goal from Siobhan McGrath which put them in front.

Slaughtneil hit back with a point from Therese Mellon but it wasn’t enough as the match finished 1-8 to 0-10 in favour of the Galway side.
