Three released in north Belfast murder investigation

Two men, aged 30 and 33, and a 17-year-old boy arrested in connection with the murder of a 36-year-old man in north Belfast have been released unconditionally.

The victim – 36-year-old Robbie Lawlor, from Coolock in Dublin – was shot multiple times by a lone gunman in what police have described as a “brutal killing”.

It happened in the Etna Drive area of Ardoyne on Saturday 4 April.

A 27-year-old man who was also being questioned was released unconditionally on Monday 6th April.

Detectives are appealing for help with their investigation.

They are asking anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage recorded in the Etna Drive or Kingston Court areas on Saturday to upload it to the Major Incident Public Portal.
